Monday we met Derek's girlfriend from Tupelo at the Jasper movie theatre. I didn't even know Jasper had a movie theatre! It surely doesn't look like on either. It shows four movies. The lobby was decorated with things made out of boxes that were put together sloppily. There was a transformer, a bank (random), and some building. Weird! I was completely disappointed when they advertised Otis Spuntmeyer cookies, but had none! When I walked inside the theatre I immediately had deja vu. It took me back to the college days and going to the dollar theatre in Prattville. Both are Cobbs, so that must be why. Anyhow, we saw Harry Potter again, which was good because I saw one part I missed. I must have dozed for a minute or two despite my love for the movies and books. Did I mention that Jared and I started a Harry Potter marathon on Friday, July 10 and ended it a day before we went and saw the first movie? We are nerds and proud of it! Back to our evening, so, we are watching a movie with this girl we have never met and her parents, who were all pleasant people to be around! Ok, then comes the bathrooms. Wow... I mean, I love using the restroom with the toilet paper holder in my rib cage and my other elbow bumping the other wall. Tight squeeze not to mention the lovely brown and tan tiled floor and walls. Must have been the original decor. Anyhow, after we left we needed to stop for gas. Check out the sign at the gas station. Only in Walker County can you get this experience!
Tuesday we met Jennifer, Ian, Maddie, Katie, and Hannah at Fun Factory. We had a good time, maybe too good because Jared, Pam, Derek, and Devin took down the bouncey/jumping inflatable! The girl had to hook a new pump up to it and then it was back like new! No worries! It's all good! I took a picture of it, but with Pam's camera, so I don't have it to put on here. It was hilarious!
Today we were supposed to go to the park, but it rained, so instead, we played games, mostly Risk. The boys leave tomorrow. Or should I say today because it it ten til 2 am. Derek just made some cheese grits and Jared and Devin are playing Wii Fit. We are all laughing at old Kramer/Art Garfunkel or better known as Devin! He cannot hula hoop!
We will definitely miss the boys when they go home tomorrow!
The time has come.....
